THE challenge

Kansai Paint existing website was too focused on corporate information and lacked strong branding elements, while the product content was very factual and technical. As such, the website did not represent the brand’s image nor did it offer professional DIY ideas for home owners to inspire them to use Kansai products. It needed to be revamped.

The plan

The website needed an overhaul from inside to out, from design and website structure, to the style and tone of the content. So we designed a new site that is stylish, contemporary and consumer-centric, with strategically embedded content that following user's browsing history. The new site also provided easy access for store locations, guided users to find the right products for the right coating needs and offered application tips. We balanced the usage of colour and graphic elements to bring out the brand identity and keep the design elegant.
